Bio:

Dr. Thomas Lu is a Senior Researcher at NASA Jet Propulsion Lab. He has extensive experience in AI research, development, and implementation, with a focus on cutting-edge emerging computing technologies, including Machine Learning, data sciences, data analytics, big data, Large Language Models (LLMs), embedded parallel computing processors, sensor fusion, holography, optical information processing, optical sensors, radar, sonar, acoustic, multi-spectral sensor processing, 3D imaging. He served as the Principal Investigator and Task Manager of multiple R&D projects with proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering AI-driven solutions that meet business objectives. He served as an organizer and a program committee member for SPIE International Conferences. He has published one book, 2 book chapters, over 80 research papers and presentations in international conferences and journals, 6 patents, over 30 NASA New Technology Reports.
